Tillman the Snowboarding Bulldog (Video)
A four-year-old bulldog named Tillman has been practicing his snowboarding skills for the annual New Year’s Day Rose Parade in Pasadena, California.
The boss of the Natural Balance dog food company came up with the idea of using Tillman on a Rose Parade float after seeing him skateboarding on TV.
Tillman, who will be joined by four other bulldogs, will snowboard down a 34-metre (112 feet) mountain on what is planned to be the longest float in Rose Parade history.
His owner, Ron Davis, says he took to skateboarding when he was a puppy, then progressed to snowboarding. He is also a keen surfer.
The Rose Parade, also known as the Tournament of Roses Parade, has been held in Padadena every year since 1890.
Hundreds of thousands of people line the streets to watch the colourful event, which features horses and marching bands as well as floats.
